This blog was created to provide my opinion and reviews about the Chicago music scene. The commentary here is based upon what shows that I (as a lover of all things music) have SEEN. I also comment on the venues so that you can know what to expect during your night out, whether reserve tables are in order, what acoustical nightmares or pleasures you might experience, where you might go to eat before the show, and other random, noteworthy, or fun observations. I hope you enjoy the reviews!

Bahamas and Milo Greene at Lincoln Hall on November 2, 2012
A great band from Los Angeles. I saw them previously when they opened for Civil Wars last year (see entry on Civil Wars). They had a 3 song EP and a line out the door to buy it. Having finally finished their first full length release, they are touring as the headliner. A sold out show at Lincoln Hall filled with adoring fans tells the tale. This band is worth watching, they will be everywhere soon.
More on the show, opening act Bahamas and photos soon...

I’m thinking perfect food to snag for a picnic! My favorite is the FREE sub coupon Graco Duo Glider
